I am rehearsing for some training tomorrow, and I took the opportunity to record a very short video on the intersection building tools in Civil 3D 2010.
If you had a chance to catch the Autodesk AEC Launch program, you saw Karen demonstrate this feature.
In this video, I quickly use the wizard to create an intersection with very few presets. Note that the video is about two minutes long, and if I wasn't talking so much, it would be about thirty seconds long. How long did this take you in 2009 and lower? For me, it would have taken about 15 minutes, maybe longer. And the edits were a bit slow. It was worth it. However, I cannot deny this is much better. Now, we can focus even more time on making the design great.
