It’s time for the Autodesk annual One Team Conference. This is the big meeting with our staff from around the world and our channel partners. It’s always great to see guys like Jack, Ove and Willy, as well as leadership from sales teams around the world.
If you can’t make the conference, I’ll be tweeting as much as I can. You can also follow @Autodesk_OTC and the hashtag #OTC2010.
I arrived today and met up with my team for a session that will take place on Tuesday afternoon.
Infrastructure 2: Leverage the Autodesk Portfolio to Drive Revenue in Water/Wastewater Projects
03/02/10 | 4:30 PM
We’ll be talking about all different kinds of water projects- from water resources through wastewater treatment plants.
First I’m doing a piece on Map 3D tools for planning things like flood mapping projects and regional sanitary sewer studies, then I am talking about Civil 3D for channels, streams and more.
You might remember this video about getting ready for a Flood Study with Civil 3D 2010 that shows using the Map 3D tools for planning with geospatial data…
And also this video (no sound) that shows working through a few iterations with a corridor model of a stream.
I’m constantly amazed at the incredible work everyone is doing out there with water related projects. I’d love to hear about more- what kinds of things have you been working on? Earthen dams? Levees? Channels? Dredging?
