About the Symposium
The Infrastructure Symposium and the special interest breakouts for transportation, land planning, water, and electric and gas utilities will provide peer networking opportunities across the ecosystem of owner/operators and engineering, design and construction professionals. The Symposium will kick off with a general session including an executive panel discussion on industry and technology trends and innovations in visualization and collaboration. Then in your breakouts you will learn, connect and explore with peers in your industry.
• Electric & Gas Utilities Breakout – join focused discussions and presentations on transmission, distribution and substation topics including model-based design, 3D visualization and collaboration, engineering data management, and learn how intelligent modeling processes and the cloud are helping to transform business processes.
• Land Planning Breakout– join focused discussions and presentations on small-scale planning efforts or city-wide, large scale urban planning topics including the convergence of CAD, GIS and BIM for creating intelligent city models.
• Transportation Breakout – join focused discussions and presentations on road and rail topics including how BIM and the cloud are helping to transform business processes.
• Water Breakout – join focused discussions and presentations on water/wastewater utilities, water resources, and water treatment topics including 3D modeling and design, and learn how BIM and the cloud are helping to transform business processes.
